“Anthony is the best hiker of the ball I’ve ever seen. He’s a very important part of this team.” – Anthony’s Flag-Football Coach.
Being younger, smaller and not as fast as many players on his team, it took some time for Anthony to find his niche.
The rules of youth flag-football are such that play must stop if/when the ball touches the ground, so Anthony’s freakish ability to get the ball to the quarterback consistently made him a very valuable player.
In the final showdown of the season, Anthony’s coach drew up a play to close the game out in style. After hiking the ball, Anthony ran into the end-zone and caught his first ever touchdown pass.
