Tallahassee dad embarks on Driving Change for Safer Florida Streets tour to convince county commissions to pass hands-free resolutions.
After common-sense hands-free laws failed to pass the state legislature last session, the Anthony Phoenix Branca Foundation is embarking on a statewide tour to urge county commissions to pass a resolution imploring lawmakers to act to make Florida roads safer.
The statewide tour, called Driving Change for Safer Florida Streets, kicked off with a silent auction and BBQ on Dec. 7 that raised nearly $3,000 for the endeavor.
